Rotor Performance – 2008 - present

A project to test rotor performance and dynamic loadings has been on-going since 2008, latterly in a wave and current tank testing facility, the Orkney Hydrodynamic Research Facility (OHRF) in Stromness, Orkney. The team will continue to carry out this project for the foreseeable future as the information gathered will directly impact upon future commercial rotor design.
