EMEC are undergoing a number of related research projects and wildlife monitoring programme which SRTP have committed to be a part of once the 250kW device is operational, and these activities will continue for the 2MW. 

We have our own employed environmental consultant who is responsible for environmental consents and all ongoing onsite monitoring associated with at sea testing (@1/5th scale, 250kW and ultimately 2MW).
