1/5th Scale Tested: 2009

Scotrenewables Tidal Power Limited has tested a fully functioning 1/5th scale prototype that has verified the concept and provided vital information on loading and performance which has fed directly into the final design of the 250kW prototype.  In addition the practical experiences of working and operating in tidal conditions have been invaluable in progressing to full-scale.
